--Knightly should have a better American accent than she does.
--Kenneth B. has a pretty darn good Russian accent.
--Definitely gripping.
--K.B. is nearly unrecognizable as a Russian.
--Realistic; suspenseful; good acting overall.
--Modern
--Gun fights are epic, definitely seat-gripping

--Several moments of jaw-dropping w.t.f. moments
--Not a ton of humor, or comic relief
--New levels of respect for the acting abilities of Chris Pine & Kenneth Branagh
--That was actually better than we thought it would be
Overall Thoughts
The acting is pretty good, modern and not over-done. The filming is quick paced, fitting for an action film. The majority of the film is reminiscent of the Bourne series. The use of Russian language, both written and spoken, adds a layer of realism. We would recommend it, and is a film that will stay on our lists.
Parent's Guide
-2 brief kisses
-woman is shown in a towel, not in a sexual way. It's after a shower, as she walks around her apartment.
-Violence is constant throughout the film, although none is all that graphic. Guns, knives and fighting, with little blood or gore.
-A few uses of the "F" word, shit and damn.
